It’s hard not to be impressed when you have the musical equivalent of ringside seats to the Harlem Globetrotters

For the perfect accompaniment to this event, wine and beer specialists Ake & Humphris recommend…
Louisiana, where Wynton himself is from, is home to an amazing array of seafood. A truly fine match for your best catch would be the sublime Suckfizzle Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon blend from Margaret River in Oz. High definition fruit with a versatile plethora of herbaceous nuances much like a Bordeaux blend in a zoot suit. Full of soul and swagger, this complex white really excites (£15.00/750ml)
“The Chief” from Ilkley Brewery – Now exported from its humble Yorkshire town to the U.S. This staggering brew boasts more hops than Coltrane blew notes! Thankfully some of this jazzy number is available locally too. (£3.60/500ml)
