From 3rd January 2012 onwards, please be aware that there will be an increase made in the charges levied on payments made by debit and credit cards for bookings made via the Festival Office (i.e. via the +44 (0)1423 562303 telephone number and firstname.lastname@example.org email address). These charges will apply to payments relating to Weekend Break Packages and tailored ticket and accommodation bookings.
New debit/credit card charges from 3rd Jan 2012:
Debit cards (Visa Debit, Maestro, Solo) £1.50 per transaction
Credit cards (Visa Credit, Mastercard) £5.00 per transaction
N.B. We are unable to accept American Express cards.
We regret the necessity to increase the charges made on debit and credit card payments. This is dictated by the high level of the processing fees charged to us by the banks, particularly on credit card transactions, which as a charitable organisation we are regretfuly not able to absorb in their entirety. (Our charges on credit card payments contribute towards the bank fees, but do not cover the total amount.)
Alternative payment methods
If preferred, you can also pay for Weekend Break Packages and tailored accommodation and ticket package bookings by cheque. Please make cheques payable to “North Yorkshire Cultural Events Ltd” and post to arrive within 72hrs of making your booking.
If payment is not received within this time we are unable to guarantee your booking.
