Born in Venice in 1983, Alessandro Taverna has already won numerous awards in international competitions, including in 2009 1st prize in the Minnesota International Piano Competition, 2nd prize in the London International Piano Competition and Bronze Medal at the Leeds International Piano Competition. Since then, he has shown a remarkable, constant development that makes him one of the most interesting, musical pianists of his generation, being in worldwide demand. Alessandro performs a programme of music by a leading symbol of the Romantic era, composer Frédéric Chopin.
