Theakstons Old Peculier Crime Novel of the Year 2014 announced!

On Thursday 17 July 2014, Belinda Bauer scooped the Theakstons Old Peculier Crime Novel of the Year Award for Rubbernecker.

Celebrating its tenth year, the Award is considered one of the most coveted crime writing prizes in the country.

We’re delighted to announce that Theakstons Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival will be returning on:

16-19 July 2015, Old Swan Hotel, Harrogate
The first details of the 2015 Festival programme have been released, with best-selling crime author Ann Cleeves taking up the role of Programming Chair. Special Guests already confirmed include M.C.Beaton; Arnaldur Indridason; and Sara Paretsky with more names to be announced over the coming weeks and months.
