Bringing the 2024 edition to a very special close is a Festival favourite and one of the foremost voices in contemporary crime fiction. Elly Griffiths is the creator of the much-loved Norfolk-set series featuring forensic psychologist Ruth Galloway, as well as the Brighton Mysteries and some stellar standalones. Elly’s skillful blending of mystery and suspense – and a touch of the supernatural – has earned her a dedicated following of readers worldwide.
Elly’s latest bestseller is the unmissable The Last Word, set in rural Sussex against the backdrop of the mysterious death, and possible murder, of a local writer. Like all Elly’s novels, this one is full of the richly drawn characters, intricate plots, and immersive settings that readers adore.
Elly will be interviewed by broadcaster and author Stig Abell.
