Frederic studied with Andrew Ball at the Royal College of Music and with Ian Fountain at the Royal Academy of Music. He was a scholar and prizewinner at both institutions. At the Royal Academy of Music, he was awarded a DipRAM for an outstanding final recital and held the Hodgson Fellowship. Frederic pursues an interest in song and regularly studies the Lieder repertoire with the celebrated accompanist Roger Vignoles.
Born in London in 1991, Frederic grew up in Switzerland and began playing the piano at an early age, studying at the Lausanne and Geneva conservatories. He subsequently studied with John Byrne at Wells Cathedral School (UK), and during that time toured China and Hong Kong as soloist. He was Keyboard Finalist in the BBC Young Musician 2010 competition.
