Agatha Christie: The Woman Behind the Words

Dr Loukia Drosopoulou

Loukia Drosopoulou is one of the Project Curators in the forthcoming exhibition at the British Library Agatha Christie: A World of Mystery. Loukia joined the British Library in 2018 as a Music Curator, a post she still holds alongside her role in the Agatha Christie exhibition. She has extensive professional experience in researching and curating historical and archival collections, ranging from the 18th to the 20th centuries, on which she has published widely, as well as given numerous talks and presentations.

Susan Brownrigg

Susan Brownrigg is a Lancashire lass, she grew up in Wigan and now lives in Skelmersdale. She has very fond memories of daytrips and holidays in Blackpool as a child. Susan has worked as a Library Information Assistant for three years, and has several children’s books published, including the Gracie Fairshaw series. The Secret of Abney Hall is her debut adult fiction book.

Laura Thompson

Laura Thompson won the Somerset Maugham award for her first book, The Dogs, and is the author of the New York Times bestseller The Six: The Lives of the Mitford Sisters. Other books include the critically-acclaimed Life in a Cold Climate, a biography of Nancy Mitford; the Crime Writers’ Association Award-nominated Rex v Edith Thompson; and Agatha Christie: A Mysterious Life. She has appeared in several Christie documentaries, including Inside the Mind of Agatha Christie (PBS).
