Heather Morris, the international bestselling author of The Tattooist of Auschwitz, joins us to discuss her new novel, The Piano Teacher of Montparnasse.
Set in Nazi-occupied Paris, the novel follows a piano teacher and member of the French Resistance who risks everything to protect a young Jewish girl. Drawing on the remarkable true story that inspired the book, Heather will talk about her research, her passion for uncovering forgotten histories, and the power of fiction to honour the courage and resilience of ordinary people in extraordinary times.
The event will also feature live piano performances of music from the novel, bringing its evocative musical world to life.
