There’s no hiding from science. Forensics has transformed detecting crimes, taking the genre from the puzzle in the library to the minutia under the microscope.

Chair Peter James gets the facts straight with ex-CID officer Dave Gaylor and Forensic Podiatrist Haydn Kelly.

Giving evidence are authors with a few ‘ologies under their belts – Dr Brooke Magnanti studied anthropology and mathematics with a doctorate in forensic science. Working as an escort, she penned Belle de Jour: Diary of a London Call Girl, and is author of The Turning Tide. Joining her is Elly Griffiths, author of the mysteries featuring forensic archaeologist Dr Ruth Galloway, and thriller writer Kate Medina, who studied Psychology and worked with the TA as a Troop Commander in the Royal Engineers.
