The clarinet goes to town! An alumni of Harrogate International Festivals’ Young Musician series in the 80s, Emma went on to global success. Since winning the BBC Young Musician of the Year at the age of 17 she has gone on to become one of the UK’s biggest selling classical artists, having sold over half a million albums worldwide. The classical chart-topping musician returns to the Festival that discovered her to celebrate the centenary of Leonard Bernstein’s birth, including music from the iconic West Side Story.
