Louisa Staples was awarded a place at The Yehudi Menuhin School when she was just eight years-old. As a school girl, aged 15, she was shortlisted for the world-renowned Menuhin Competition. Born in 2000, Louisa was one of few Brits to compete in this ultimate showcase of the world’s brightest violin protégés. At 16, she became a 2016 BBC Young Musician finalist. The talented teen has already played in major venues including Wigmore Hall. Be inspired by this bright rising star as the international strings prodigy performs Prokofiev, Debussy and Ravel.
