Harrogate, 22 June 2022

Yesterday’s World Music Day was an opportunity to celebrate the wonder of music, the musical talent within our communities around the world and, after an incredibly difficult two years, the power of music to bring people together in a joyful and uplifting shared experience.

As Glastonbury’s gates re-open, Harrogate Music Festival is also bursting back into life, with acclaimed musicians and rising starts from around the world performing on our doorstep in Harrogate from next week.

Our diverse 2022 programme brings together a host of musical talent, from world class classical and chamber musicians to superstar DJs, and London’s finest jazz musicians to veterans of Afro-funk. It is guaranteed to move and excite you.

As you’d imagine, this was expected to be a bumper comeback year for festivals like ours. However, across the UK it is clear that there are many audiences who are not yet ready to return, alongside the competition of seeing family, friends, holidays and spending time together after such a long time apart.

This means that this year, every single ticket you buy really does make a difference to us and our long-term survival. Please tell your friends, family and networks and encourage them to book a ticket.

We can’t wait to welcome you back to live recitals and gigs from the world’s most gifted musicians.

Tickets can be booked via our What’s On page here, or via the Box Office on 01423 562303 (open Monday – Friday, 10am – 5pm), or in person at our Box Office at 32 Cheltenham Parade, Harrogate, HG1 1DB.
