Codex Light Installation brings stories to life

As the authors take to the Raworths Harrogate Literature Festival digital stage this weekend, literature will also come to life in the streets of Harrogate with a large light installation in the form of a book.

From 6pm, as dusk falls, the pages turn, and this giant book will share its well-known tales from the Jabberwocky to the Gashlycrumb Tinies, the story of our spa town: Harrogate, and a host of ten-word tales from best-selling authors and local residents alike.

Positioned in Library Gardens on the weekend of October 23 and 24, there will be plenty of room for watching, whilst at the same ensuring social distancing can be safely observed. The Codex is free to enjoy.
