Dead Giveaways: The Merch Tent from Pan Macmillan, is coming to the Theakston Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival on Saturday 19th July, with a fantastic selection of events and giveaways.

Join former First Minister of Scotland and author of Frankly, Nicola Sturgeon, as we introduce readers to Jo Murray, an exciting new talent debuting their gripping courtroom drama Dissection of a Murder in 2026.

Come along to grab some crime fiction-themed freebies: merch, samplers, treats and the chance to win a prize bundle.

Only book a ticket if you’re planning to come along – there are also main stage events happening at the same time. Spaces are limited in advance, but there may be more available on the day.
