It is 50 years since Agatha Christie’s death and 100 years since her hideaway in the Old Swan Hotel. Four crime writers explore her enduring influence on the genre.

Lucy Foley’s new novel, Murder at the Grand Alpine Hotel is an official Miss Marple mystery. Former Christie translator Ragnar Jónasson returns with The Mysterious Case of the Missing Crime Writer. Ross Montgomery’s The Murder at World’s End is a classic sealed mansion mystery. Ruth Ware proves herself a fitting heir to the Christie crown with The Woman in Suite 11. The modern queen of crime, Val McDermid, will chair.
