Jessica Fellowes is no stranger to the glitz and glamour of the 1920s. Niece of Julian Fellowes, she began at the Mail on Sunday as a celebrity interviewer and lifestyle editor, before going on to be Deputy Editor of Country Life magazine.

Jessica wrote several of the official companion books to the TV series Downton Abbey, and then, finding a love of the era, embarked on The Mitford Murders, bringing the sumptuous sparkle and the blissful escapism of the Golden Age back into the 21st century with a crime fiction twist!

Bright Young Dead brings the inspiration for Downton Abbey to the forefront with her knowledge of the era which brought us flapper dresses and Bright Young Things.
