The Bumblebee Flies Anyway

Fri 18 Oct | 11am
The Crown Hotel, Harrogate

Are you green-fingered, or green with envy at your neighbour’s garden? Passionate about organic, wildlife-friendly gardening, Kate Bradbury is an award-winning author and journalist.

She edits the wildlife pages of BBC Gardeners World Magazine and regularly writes articles for the Daily and Sunday Telegraph, The Guardian, RHS magazine The Garden and BBC Wildlife and BBC Countryfile magazines. In 2015 she was named the first Butterfly Ambassador for conservation charity Butterfly Conservation and her educational and uplifting writing has been a source of inspiration to millions of amateur gardeners across Britain.

Kate’s evocative and nostalgic novel The Bumblebee Flies Anyway tells the story of transforming a tired north-facing patio garden into a wildlife oasis, hoping to attract her very favourite, and first love: bees.
