Become a Festival Volunteer
In order to produce our world-class Festivals, we rely on dedicated volunteers who are passionate about what they do. Your generous time and support ensures the smooth running of the Festivals and allows us to continue to bring artistic and cultural events to Harrogate that are safe, inclusive and engaging.
Anybody can become a volunteer, from retirees to students, whether you have skills to share or want to learn new ones. Volunteering with the Festivals is a valuable experience especially for those passionate about arts administration, events management and stage production.
We welcome applications from D/deaf and disabled volunteers. You can request access information relating to our office and any reasonable adjustments you may require on your expression of interest form. These can include: access to a seat, flexible shift times, PA support and regular breaks.
Register your interest
The work involved can be demanding, but the long days revolve around an exciting programme of events, providing opportunities to meet new people and gain behind-the-scenes insights into how festivals work, all whilst supporting the local community and a local charity.
