If me playing every part counts as a soundtrack then it’s that! I read and write out loud!
What’s the last book that made you miss your stop / bedtime / reality?
Like a Love Story by Abdi Nazemian
If you could co-write with any author (living or dead), who would it be?
My heart is telling me Toni Morrison. More so that I could watch her work, and listen as she comes up with some of the most incredible sentences and thoughts in the English language.
What would your 12-year-old self think of your current job?
They would be amazed! People always tell you to follow your heart – but they’re always surprised when you do!
What’s a word you overuse (and secretly love)?
Lovely, and perfect. I’m very complimentary!
What book do you wish everyone would read – at least once?
You Need to Chill by Juno Dawson – it’ll only take five minutes, it’s great fun, and I think it’s a hugely important book right now.
What’s the most surprising thing a fan has ever said to you?
The first time an adult told me they used to love watching me as a kid. I nearly vomited. I’m only 25 and I have been for the last 15 years.
What’s the best part of taking part in a live event and why do you think events like this are important?
Getting to meet people that love your work, and getting to introduce more people to it!
What are you looking forward to about coming to Harrogate?
I’ve never been before, but it’s been on my bucket list for ages. It looks like such a beautiful place!
