Welcome to the Harrogate International Sunday Series 2018.

Now in its 25th year, the Sunday Series presents the world’s brightest talents in classical chamber music, with performances taking place on Sunday mornings throughout the Spring. Set in the Victorian splendour of the Old Swan Hotel in Harrogate, audiences can enjoy exceptional music and beautiful surroundings here in the heart of Yorkshire.  Previous musicians at the Sunday Series have included pianist John Lil, cellist Julian Lloyd Webber and the award winning Brodsky Quartet.

The opening concert features the multi-award winning German cellist, Benedict Kloeckner, in collaboration with renowned Japanese pianist Momo Kodama. In February, we welcome internationally acclaimed Scottish pianist Steven Osborne and March sees the highly anticipated return of global superstar Nicola Benedetti. The Albion Quartet, featuring renowned violinist Tamsin Waley-Cohen, share their passion for the chamber music of Dvorák, and bringing the series to a close is a piano recital by 2014’s BBC Young Musician of the Year, Martin James Bartlett.
