Harrogate International Festivals Celebrates Hearing Suite Partnership with Special Pop-Up Gig

Harrogate International Festivals is delighted to announce that The Hearing Suite is the latest Yorkshire business to become one of its key sponsors.

The Hearing Suite is an independent hearing clinic that provides tailored solutions for individuals, and to celebrate it becoming one of the Festivals’ Premier Partners, acclaimed musician James Morley performed a 40 minute set at the Hearing Suite’s East Parade offices in Harrogate.

Swiss-based cellist Morley, who also performed in the Spiegeltent on July 5 as part of this year’s Young Musicians Series, put on a special gig for staff and patients.

The business, launched in 2018 by Emily Woodmansey, helps people with different degrees of hearing loss by focusing on personal and quality care.

Based in state-of-the-art clinics in Harrogate, Ilkley and Wykeham, The Hearing Suite’s team of experienced audiologists have extensive training and for the last six years have been helping people get their hearing back on track.

Founder and Managing Director, Emily Woodmansey, said: “I launched The Hearing Suite in Harrogate, so we are absolutely delighted to become one of Harrogate International Festivals’ Premier Partners.

“Culture and music enrich our lives, just as having better hearing can transform an individual’s quality of life, which is why this feels like such a great partnership.”

Sharon Canavar, Chief Executive of Harrogate International Festivals, said: “The Hearing Suite does such brilliant work for its clients and we are thrilled that this innovative business, with its roots in Harrogate, has become our latest sponsor.

“As an arts organisation we rely on sponsors not only to enable us to stage major concerts and festivals, but also to create innovative programmes and projects that benefit the local community, and thanks to the support of The Hearing Suite this crucial work can continue.”
