Raising a glass to Harrogate Charity Beer Festival

Harrogate International Festivals is extremely grateful to have received £6,000 thanks to the Harrogate Round Table Charity Beer Festival 2024.

The beer festival has been an annual event since 1990 and raises money for local charities at the same time as showcasing the best beer the region has to offer.

This year’s festival, held in March at the Crown Hotel, supported Harrogate International Festivals, Samaritans, HELP (Harrogate Easier Living Project) and Martin House Children’s Hospice, with all the profits split between the four charities.

Thanks to the amazing support of the community over the years, the Harrogate Round Table Beer Festival has donated more than £500,000 to local charities that are making a positive difference to people’s lives.

Sharon Canavar, Harrogate International Festivals’ Chief Executive, said: “We are extremely grateful for this generous donation from Harrogate Round Table Charity Beer Festival 2024 and I would like to thank Harrogate Round Table for choosing us as one of its charities to support.

“As an arts charity we rely on sponsors and the support of our local community and I can’t overstate the importance of donations like this. These funds will enable us to deliver our year-round programme and to continue producing top quality events that not only enrich all of our lives, but also help put Harrogate on the cultural map both here in the UK and around the world.”
