Harrogate International Festivals’ most flamboyant event returned in 2022 as the magical Spiegeltent was resurrected in Crescent Gardens. The bohemian mirrored walls, wooden floors, stained glass, red velvet booths, and lamped lighting formed the perfect backdrop for a carefully curated programme of jazz, funk, burlesque, and much more. After four years away, we couldn’t have been more excited.

The 2022 programme consisted of some firm favourites along with some exciting new artists. We were thrilled to create a new dance floor for Harrogate to welcome Hacienda DJ Graeme Park, the iconic Silent Disco and the return of the town’s most loved night club, Jimmy’s.

We welcomed the world to Harrogate with our music line up. Monsieur Viellefon swept you away to Paris, London Afrobeat Collective delivered global sounds and undeniable funk, and guests experienced the sounds of Congo with festival legends Kasai Masai. The hugely talented Jo Harrop made her Harrogate debut with a Sunday of stunning jazz as a part of her national tour, and Elton John’s favourite band The Gypsy Queens made a much anticipated return to the town. If that wasn’t enough, we welcomed back the sensational Tempest Rose and the House of Burlesque.
