Harrogate International Sunday Series
January – April | Harrogate
Harrogate International Sunday Series is a popular and well established series of Sunday morning coffee concerts featuring the world’s most talented classical and chamber musicians. The Sunday Series runs from January to April, bringing uplifting and inspiring spring performances from gifted artists to the heart of Yorkshire.
Tradition and innovation go hand in hand in the 2023 programme, a diverse and exciting series designed to captivate both established and new audiences. We’ll be joined by previous Young Musicians, feature a brand new ensemble project and have two of the fastest rising stars in the business making their Harrogate debuts.
Opening the 2023 Series is the current Director of Music at the Yehudi Menuhin School, internationally renowned pianist Ashley Wass, a Festival young Musician alumnus from 2007. In February we welcome Trio Bathasar, comprising of the incredibly talented Iain Burnside, Tim Hugh, and previous Young Musician alumnus from 2014 Michael Foyle. Also in February the incredible Jeneba Kanneh-Mason joins us fresh from her debut BBC Proms appearance. Bringing the series to a close is another one to watch; winner of the 2020 BBC Young Musician Strings category Coco Tomita, performing with pianist Simon Callaghan.
