Harrogate International Sunday Series
January – April | Harrogate
Harrogate International Sunday Series is a popular and well established series of Sunday morning coffee concerts featuring the world’s most talented classical and chamber musicians. The Sunday Series runs from January to April, bringing uplifting and inspiring spring performances from gifted artists to the heart of Yorkshire.
The current Director of Music at the Yehudi Menuhin School, internationally renowned pianist Ashley Wass, a Festival young Musician alumnus from 2007, opened the Series in 2023. We also welcomed Trio Bathasar, comprising of the incredibly talented Iain Burnside, Tim Hugh, and previous Young Musician alumnus from 2014 Michael Foyle. The incredible Jeneba Kanneh-Mason joined us fresh from her debut BBC Proms appearance, whilst Coco Tomita, winner of the 2020 BBC Young Musician Strings category, closed the Series with a performance with pianist Simon Callaghan.
We’re now busy planning an exciting line-up for Spring 2024, but in the meantime, for a taste of the Sunday Series, why not visit HIF Player where there are over 125 events, including a host of musical performances from artists including: Steven Isserlis, Tasmin Little and Momo Kodama, available for you to enjoy for free, from the comfort of your own home.
