Volunteering with Harrogate International Festivals is a great way to explore Harrogate, meet new people, build confidence, learn skills, contribute to the local arts scene, and champion international art and culture.

Anybody can become a volunteer, from retirees to students, whether you have skills to share or want to learn new ones. Through your generous time and support, it ensures the smooth running of the Festival and allows us to continue to bring artistic and cultural events to Harrogate that are safe, inclusive and engaging. In order to produce its famous programme, Harrogate International Festivals relies on  dedicated volunteers who are passionate about what they do. This would be a valuable experience especially for those passionate about arts administration, events management and stage production.

The work involved can be demanding, but the long days involve an exciting programme of events alongside meeting new people, a great way to gain behind-the-scenes insights into how Festivals work, as well as supporting the local community and a local charity.
